Requirements

Driver: Minimum 18 years old and a PHYSICAL and ORIGINAL B (Car) Driving License.
Companion: Minimum age 7 years old (must reach the footrests).
Weight: Maximum 175 kg per vehicle (sum of driver + passenger).

Rules of Use

The use of closed shoes (sports shoes or boots) is strictly mandatory.
Punctuality is required: 15 minutes before departure for check-in and contracts.
Total respect for the guide’s instructions and the rules of the National Park.

Not suitable for

Pregnant women.
Children under 7 years old.
People with recent or serious back or neck injuries.
Drivers without a physical license at the time of departure (photos or photocopies are not accepted).

Important Information

What to bring:

Original B driving license (Driver).
Passport or ID card.
Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty (especially on the Off-Road route).
Long pants and some warm clothing (it cools down in Teide even in summer).
Mandatory closed shoes (sports shoes or boots).
Sunglasses and sunscreen.

Not allowed:

Driving or riding as a passenger with flip-flops, sandals, or open shoes.
Alcohol or drug consumption prior to or during the route.
Reckless driving or driving off the track marked by the guide.

Important Details:

The quad tour is an outdoor activity. Consequently, if the weather conditions are not favorable or safe to complete the tour (extreme rain, wind alerts), the route will be rescheduled for another day or canceled with a full refund, always guaranteeing your safety and the highest quality in your experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it difficult to drive the quad if I have never done it before?

Not at all. Our quads are automatic and very stable. First, before starting the route, the guide will give you a detailed explanation. Then, we will do a small practice in a safe zone so you feel completely comfortable.

Will I get dirty with dust or mud?

If you choose the Off-Road route, yes, it is part of the fun. Alternatively, if you choose the routes to Teide (Classic or Sunset), the driving is 100% on asphalt, so you will arrive home clean.

Is a photo of the driving license on the phone acceptable?

No. Due to legal traffic and insurance regulations, it is mandatory to present the PHYSICAL and ORIGINAL document. Without it, you will not be able to drive and you will lose your reservation.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

If weather conditions prevent the route from being carried out safely, we will propose changing the date or we will refund 100% of the amount.

Can we take turns driving if we book a Double Quad?

Yes, provided that both of you are of legal age and present your original B license. However, the second driver must pay a small insurance supplement (€20) at the office.

Cancellation Policy

Enjoy free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booking.
If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the booking, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
