Absolutely! As local experts, we love designing tailor-made experiences. If you are a large group, celebrating a special occasion, or simply want to combine several activities in one day, contact us and we will take care of organizing everything adapted to your tastes and budget.
How do the Gift Ticket and discount codes work?
Gift Ticket: If you have received an experience as a gift, look for the gift icon in the header of our website. A popup will open where you can enter your code and select the date for your experience.
Discount Coupons: If you have a promo code, please note that it can only be applied during the checkout process. Discounts cannot be applied once the booking has been completed and paid for.
Do I need previous experience for the activities?
For the vast majority of our activities, you do not need any previous experience. Our guided tours, parks, quad/buggy routes, horseback riding, and boats are suitable for everyone. For jet skis or parasailing, our instructors will give you all the necessary instructions before starting.
For scuba diving, we offer the “Baptism” designed exclusively for beginners. We only require official certification (PADI/SSI) if you specifically book the “Dive for Certified Divers” option, or previous experience for renting 125cc Scooters.
How can I cancel and what is the refund policy?
Our cancellation policy is flexible so you can book with peace of mind:
- 100% free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booking starts.
- If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours in advance, you will be refunded 50% of the amount.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
To manage a cancellation or change of date, simply contact us via WhatsApp or email.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?
Your safety and enjoyment come first. If weather conditions (wind, swell, heavy clouds for stargazing) prevent the activity from being carried out safely and optimally, we will contact you. In that case, the excursion will be rescheduled for another day that suits you, or we will cancel it with a full refund.
By Air
Is there a weight or age limit for flying?
Yes, due to strict aviation and equipment safety regulations:
- Paragliding: Maximum weight of 100 kg. Minimum age of 12 years (accompanied by a legal guardian). Not suitable for over 70s.
- Helicopter: Maximum weight of 110 kg per seat. If you exceed this weight, regulations require booking a second seat (which we offer at a 50% discount).
- Parasailing: Minimum age of 3 years. The maximum total weight is 150 kg per flight (adding up the weight of all people flying together under the same parachute).
Are the flights private or will I be with other people?
It depends on the experience you choose:
- Helicopter: The cabin has 4 seats. The flight is shared unless you want total exclusivity; in that case, you simply need to book all 4 seats for a 100% private flight.
- Paragliding: The flight is always in tandem (just you and your pilot). If you come with your partner or friends, you’ll each fly in your own paraglider, taking off just a few minutes apart.
- Parasailing: The boat ride is shared with other customers, but your parachute flight is exclusive to you and your companions (you can fly 1, 2, or up to 3 people together on the same flight).
Can I choose my seat or position during the flight?
It depends on the aircraft you choose to fly in:
- Helicopter: Due to strict aerodynamic rules, seats cannot be chosen. The pilot will assign seats right before takeoff based on weight balance.
- Paragliding: The passenger always sits comfortably at the front (enjoying the best views!), while the pilot sits behind to steer the glider.
- Parasailing: If 2 or 3 of you are flying together under the same parachute, you will be seated right next to each other in the air.
What if I have vertigo, health issues, or I'm pregnant?
Funnily enough, flying rarely causes vertigo, as your brain has no visual reference to the ground. However, please note the following health restrictions:
- Pregnancy: As a precaution, none of our three aerial activities are suitable for pregnant women.
- Paragliding: Requires a minimum level of fitness for a short run during takeoff.
- Helicopter & Parasailing: Not suitable for people with severe back or neck problems, or severely reduced mobility that prevents boarding the aircraft or boat.
What ID or clothing should I bring?
It completely depends on the type of flight:
- Helicopter: It is mandatory to show your original physical Passport/ID. Wear comfortable clothing.
- Paragliding: We take off at 2,200 meters, so it is mandatory to wear closed sports shoes, long trousers, and a warm jacket (even in summer!).
- Parasailing: Swimwear or beach clothes. Strictly no mobile phones or loose sunglasses without a strap allowed during the flight due to the risk of them dropping into the ocean.
By Land
What driving licence do I need for Quads or Scooters?
For any motor vehicle, it’s strictly mandatory to bring your PHYSICAL and ORIGINAL licence on the day of the activity. Photos on your phone are not accepted.
- For Quads: A standard B (car) licence is enough.
- For 125cc Scooters: You need an A1/A2/A motorcycle licence, or a B licence held for at least 3 years.
What clothing and footwear are mandatory?
For all land activities, closed-toe shoes are strictly mandatory (trainers or hiking boots). No sandals or flip-flops.
- Horseback riding: You must wear long trousers to avoid chafing against the saddle.
- Teide routes (Quad or Scooter): Remember to bring warm clothes, as the temperature drops significantly above 2,000 metres, even during the summer months.
Are there age or weight restrictions?
Yes, for safety and animal welfare reasons:
- Horses: Minimum age is 12 years and maximum weight is 100 kg per rider.
- Quads: The driver must be over 18. The passenger must be at least 7 years old, and the maximum combined weight per Quad is 175 kg.
Do I need previous experience for the tours?
For Horseback riding and Quads, you don’t need any previous experience; our guides will give you full instructions, and the vehicles/animals are very docile and easy to handle. However, for Scooter rental, for your own safety in traffic, previous motorcycle riding experience is absolutely essential.
Are the routes on asphalt or off-road (dirt tracks)?
It depends on what you choose:
- The Horseback rides and the North Off-Road Quad tour take place on dirt tracks and forest trails.
- The Teide Quad tours and Scooters are strictly on asphalt. In fact, for insurance reasons, scooters are strictly forbidden from leaving paved roads.
By Water
Is it mandatory to know how to swim for water activities?
It depends on the activity you choose:
- For Jet Skis, Diving or Snorkel Safaris, knowing how to swim is strictly required.
- For Catamaran tours, Glass-bottom boats, or Parasailing, you don’t need to know how to swim, as you will be comfortably on board or flying safely with a harness.
In any case, for all activities in contact with the water, we will always provide you with a mandatory approved life jacket.
What if I get seasick on the boat?
Our catamarans are very stable, but sailing in the open ocean can cause seasickness if you are sensitive to it (especially when going down to look through the underwater windows). We strongly recommend buying motion sickness pills at a pharmacy and taking one 30 minutes before sailing.
Note: By law, our crew is forbidden from providing any medication on board.
Can I bring my mobile phone or camera?
On the boat and catamaran tours, absolutely (don’t forget to charge the battery to take photos of the dolphins!).
However, for our more active experiences, we have safety restrictions:
- Jet Skis and Parasailing: It is strictly forbidden to bring phones, loose cameras, or sunglasses without a strap due to the high risk of them dropping into the ocean.
- Scuba Diving (Baptism): Cameras are not allowed. For your own safety, your concentration must be 100% on breathing and following the guide’s instructions, keeping your hands free.
But don’t worry about the memories! During these adventure activities, our team will take professional photos that you can purchase at the end.
What clothing or equipment should I bring?
For any water activity, the basics are: swimwear, a towel, sunscreen (applied beforehand), and sunglasses. On boats, we highly recommend bringing a light jacket, as the ocean breeze can be chilly.
⚠️ Mandatory ID: For Jet Skis and Scuba Diving, it is a legal requirement to show your original physical Passport or National ID card on the day of the activity (along with your official diving license if you booked a certified dive).
Can I bring a wheelchair or a baby stroller on the boats?
Baby strollers are allowed on board the catamarans but must be easily foldable for space and safety reasons during the trip.
As for wheelchairs, access is very limited due to the marina gangways and the boats’ internal structure (glass-bottom boats have steep stairs). Please contact us before booking so we can confirm the exact accessibility of your chosen tour.
Are there any age or health restrictions for water activities?
Yes, due to strict safety regulations we have some limitations:
- Diving and Snorkelling: Minimum age is 10 years. Not suitable for pregnant women or people with severe asthma, epilepsy, or ear problems. VERY IMPORTANT! You must wait at least 24 hours after diving before taking a flight or going up to Mount Teide National Park.
- Jet Skis: The driver must be at least 16 years old (written consent from a legal guardian is required if under 18). Not suitable for pregnant women or people with back injuries.
- Parasailing: Minimum age of 3 years and a maximum weight of 150 kg per flight (adding up all passengers).
- Boats and Catamarans: These are relaxing activities suitable for all ages.
Guided Tours
What is the difference between a VIP Tour (Minibus) and a Classic Tour (Bus)?
The main difference is the exclusivity and group size:
- VIP Tours (Premium): These are done in comfortable minibuses with a maximum of 8 people. They offer a more personalized experience, reach hidden spots that large vehicles can’t, and often include special extras (like cava at sunset or lunch in a local “guachinche”).
- Classic Tours: These take place in large panoramic buses (up to 40 people). It is the ideal option to explore the island comfortably and very affordably, with explanations in multiple languages.
Where do you pick us up for the excursions?
It depends on the excursion you book:
- For Classic Tours and Bus Transfers, we will assign you the closest bus stop to your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz.
- For VIP Tours (Minibus), to avoid wasting time driving around, the initial meeting point is always at our office (Calle Aceviño, 2). However, on the way back we will drop you off directly at your hotel door for your ultimate comfort.
Your exact meeting time and location will always be on your booking voucher. Remember to arrive 10-15 minutes early!
Is food included in the excursions?
As a general rule, to give you more freedom of choice, food is not included, and we will stop in towns where you will have free time to eat as you please.
Exceptions: The “Teide Night and Stars” excursions. The Classic Bus Tour includes dinner in a restaurant, and the VIP Minibus Route includes an authentic traditional lunch in a Canarian guachinche.
Are the Cable Car or telescopes used on the Teide excursions?
No. The Cable Car is not included as its operating hours do not fit our panoramic or night routes.
Also, for the stargazing tours, the observation is based on “Cultural Astronomy” and is done with the naked eye. Our certified Starlight guide will teach you to read the sky and identify constellations using a professional astronomical laser, without the need for telescopes.
Do the bus transfers to the south include entrance tickets to parks?
No. Our products “Bus to Siam Park” or “Bus to Los Cristianos” are strictly a round-trip transport service.
They are the ideal option if you already have your tickets purchased separately, if you just want to go to the beach, or if you have booked any of our water activities in the south (Jet skis, Boats, etc.) and need a comfortable transport from Puerto de la Cruz without driving.
What clothes should I wear for the excursions?
As a general rule, we recommend closed, comfortable walking shoes (especially for routes like the Avatar Forest or the viewpoints).
⚠️ Beware of Mount Teide!: At over 2,000 metres altitude, the temperature is deceptive. Even if it’s hot on the coast, it is chilly on Teide, and if your tour is for sunset or stargazing, temperatures drop drastically. Always bring long trousers and a good warm jacket!
Are wheelchairs, baby strollers, or suitcases allowed?
Due to limited trunk space, it is strictly forbidden to bring bulky luggage or suitcases on all our guided excursions.
- On the VIP Tours (Minibuses), due to their small size, we CANNOT accept wheelchairs or non-foldable baby strollers. They are not suitable for people with very limited mobility.
- On the Classic Tours and Transfers (Large Buses), wheelchairs are allowed (provided the passenger has some mobility to climb the bus stairs) along with folded strollers, but you must always notify us at the time of booking.
Theme Parks & Attractions
Do the tickets include transport to the park or castle?
As a general rule, the basic ticket DOES NOT include transport. However, there are facilities and options available:
- Loro Parque: There is a free yellow “Express Train” that departs from Plaza de los Reyes Católicos (Puerto de la Cruz) every 20 minutes right to the park entrance.
- Siam Park: If you are staying in the north, we recommend booking our extra Direct bus to Siam Park option.
- Castillo San Miguel: If you are staying in the south, you must go to the venue on your own. If you are staying in the north (Puerto de la Cruz), we offer a “Ticket + Dinner + Transfer” option available exclusively on Saturdays.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
The rules change entirely depending on the venue you visit:
- Siam Park: It is strictly forbidden to enter with outside food or drinks (except water and baby food). You will find plenty of restaurants and bars inside.
- Loro Parque: You ARE allowed to bring food in, and they even have a designated picnic area. Also, you can leave the park to eat outside and re-enter on the same day by asking for a stamp on your way out.
- Castillo San Miguel: The show includes a full medieval banquet (soup, roasted chicken, ice cream cake) and drinks. If you are vegetarian or have allergies, you must let us know in the booking notes so we can adapt your menu.
How exactly does the Twin Ticket work?
The Twin Ticket allows you to enter both Siam Park and Loro Parque with significant savings, and it is very flexible:
- You don’t have to go on the same day: In fact, it would be impossible. When buying the ticket, you do not need to choose the date for the second park.
- 15 days of validity: Once you access the first park (you can start with whichever you prefer), you have a 15-day window to visit the second one.
- Single use: The ticket is for one entry per park (you cannot use it to go to Siam Park twice, for example).
Do I need to print the tickets?
It is not mandatory. You can bring your tickets (whether the Twin Ticket, individual passes, or the Castillo San Miguel ticket) downloaded directly on your mobile phone. You will only need to show and scan the barcode at the turnstiles or entrance.
What clothing or equipment do you recommend bringing?
- For Siam Park: Swimwear, towel, and waterproof sunscreen. Water shoes are highly recommended so you don’t burn your feet walking between attractions. Beware! Loose phones, sunglasses without straps, or cameras without a chest harness are strictly forbidden on the slides.
- For Loro Parque: The venue is huge, so wearing very comfortable walking shoes is essential. Don’t forget your camera for the shows.
- For Castillo San Miguel: Comfortable and casual clothes. The venue opens at 18:15, so come prepared for a fun evening.
