Road and Volcano: Conquer the highest peak in Spain. First, feel the freedom of driving above the clouds on a scenic 100% asphalt route. Then, enjoy every curve, cross ancient forests, and discover the lunar landscape of the National Park. Shall we start?

In Detail

Get ready to conquer the highest place in Spain. Specifically, your adventure begins at our office in Puerto de la Cruz with a safety briefing. From there, we will take you in a van to the base in Aguamansa to avoid urban traffic.

First of all, this is a pure driving route (Road Touring) 100% asphalt. We will ascend winding mountain roads surrounded by Canarian pine until we exceed 2,200 meters of altitude, seeing how the landscape gradually transforms into a volcanic desert.

Then, along the route, we will make stops at the best viewpoints, such as La Bermeja, to observe the spectacular sea of clouds (weather permitting). Finally, you will enjoy a delicious snack and refreshing drink with Mount Teide in the background before returning.

Book your spot and feel the freedom of driving through the Teide National Park!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it a dirt route (Off-Road)?

No. This tour is 100% asphalt. Specifically, it is a panoramic road route (“Road Touring”) designed to enjoy the curves and the volcanic landscape while respecting the National Park’s environment.

Do I have to drive from the city?

No. First, we take you in our private van to the mountain base (Aguamansa). Then, we pick up the quads there. In this way, we avoid urban traffic and go straight to the fun and scenic part.

What clothes should I wear?

It is mandatory to wear closed shoes (sneakers or boots) and we highly recommend long pants. By climbing to 2,200 meters, the temperature drops significantly compared to the coast. However, we will lend you jackets and raincoats if necessary.

Is a photo of the driving license valid?

NO. Due to strict legal and insurance regulations, it is absolutely essential to present the B Driving License (Car) PHYSICAL and ORIGINAL. Without the document in hand, you will not be able to do the activity.

Can the companion drive?

Yes, if you book a Double Quad, you can take turns halfway through the route. However, the second driver must also present their physical and original B License, and pay an insurance supplement (€20) at the office on the day of the tour.
