Go up when everyone else goes down and experience a unique spectacle. Drive your quad into the sunset and watch the sky turn fire and gold from the best viewpoints of Mount Teide. Consequently, it is a route full of peace, vibrant colors, and the best energy of Tenerife. Are you ready for magic?

In Detail

If Teide by day is impressive, at sunset it is an experience that will leave you speechless. Specifically, we will start our adventure from our base in Puerto de la Cruz in the late afternoon, ascending towards the Teide National Park while the sky begins to change color.

First of all, it is a 100% asphalt route designed to enjoy the driving and the views. We will exceed 2,200 meters of altitude to reach the most spectacular viewpoints, just in time to witness how the sun sets creating the famous sea of clouds beneath our feet.

Then, we will make a strategic pause to enjoy a typical Canarian snack and a drink while our monitors capture postcard photos for your memory. Finally, the descent takes place at dusk, adding an extra touch of magic to driving under the stars.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it very cold in Teide at sunset?

Yes, quite a lot. By exceeding 2,200 meters and the sun hiding, temperatures drop drastically. First, we will provide you with very warm jackets and gloves. However, it is mandatory to bring long pants and closed shoes.

Is the descent dangerous at night?

Not at all. The return is made at a moderate speed on an asphalt road. Furthermore, our quads have powerful lighting systems and the guide sets a safe and calm pace at all times.

Can you always see the sea of clouds?

The sea of clouds is a frequent natural phenomenon in Tenerife, but it depends on the weather of the day. In most departures, we can enjoy it from the high viewpoints of the National Park.

What time will we be back?

The activity lasts about 3 hours. Depending on the time of year, you will be back in Puerto de la Cruz around 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Being a 100% asphalt route and at a slow pace to enjoy the views, it is ideal for people who have never driven a quad and are looking for a relaxing and visual experience.
