In Detail
If you are looking for a first contact with the equestrian world or simply want to enjoy a quiet ride, our 1-hour horseback riding route is the perfect choice. We will start at our base in Aguamansa (La Orotava), where you will meet your horse and the guide will give you very simple instructions on how to handle the reins.
We will begin a gentle ride into forest trails surrounded by native flora and Canarian pine forest. The nobility and calmness of our horses make this experience 100% safe and accessible for everyone, with no previous experience required.
Feel the fresh northern breeze, listen to the sounds of the forest, and relax in this brief but intense connection with nature and the animal. An ideal activity to share as a couple, with friends, or as a family!

Frequently Asked Questions
I have never ridden a horse, is this route for me?
Totally! The 1-hour route is specially designed for beginners and families. The horses are very gentle, they know the way perfectly, and the ride takes place at a smooth and relaxing pace.
Why are long pants strictly required?
It is for your own safety and comfort. When riding, the constant friction of your legs against the leather straps and the saddle flaps can cause painful chafing if you wear shorts.
Can small children ride on the same horse as an adult?
No. For safety and balance reasons, each rider must be on their own mount. The minimum age to ride (on their own horse, guided and supervised) is 12 years old.
Does the guide go on foot or on horseback?
The professional guide will always accompany you mounted on their own horse, leading the route, controlling the group’s pace, and assisting you with whatever you need.
Can I bring my mobile phone to take pictures?
Yes, you can carry your mobile phone in a secure pocket with a zipper. We recommend taking photos during the breaks when the horse is completely still to avoid dropping the device.
