In Detail
For those looking to completely disconnect, our 2-hour horseback riding route offers total immersion in the landscapes of northern Tenerife. After gearing up at our base in Aguamansa (La Orotava), you will meet your adventure companion, and we will head deep into the mountains.
We will ride along extensive trails under the shade of the Canarian pine forest, gaining altitude to reach areas with spectacular panoramic views of the La Orotava Valley and the Atlantic Ocean. The pace is slow and relaxing, allowing you to enjoy the absolute silence of the Canarian mountains.
With twice as much time as the short ride, you will have the opportunity to build confidence with your horse and discover natural spots that few tourists get to see. A complete, guided, and safe equestrian experience, ideal for nature and photography lovers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get too tired riding for 2 hours if I don't have practice?
The route is relaxed and at a walking pace, so it doesn’t require great physical fitness. However, if you have never ridden before, it is normal to feel slight muscle fatigue in your legs at the end due to the posture in the saddle.
Why is the weight limit 100 kg (220 lbs)?
For us, the well-being of our horses comes first. This limit ensures that the animal does not suffer bone structure damage during a 2-hour ride on uneven mountain trails.
Will we get to gallop on this long route?
For safety reasons and to maintain group cohesion, the route is mainly done at a walk. If the whole group is experienced and the guide considers it appropriate based on the terrain, a short trotting section might be done.
Can children under 12 years old go?
Unfortunately not. For safety and physical development reasons, the minimum age to do the routes is 12 years old.
Can I bring a small backpack?
Yes, you can carry a light backpack for your water or camera, as long as it does not hinder your movements when handling the reins.
