In Detail
Start your adventure by meeting our guide at the Mamio Verde office in Puerto de la Cruz. We will hop into a comfortable 9-seater van and head towards Aguamansa, situated at an altitude of 1000 metres above sea level, where the real action begins.
Upon arriving at our base, we will hand over your off-road electric scooter and safety equipment. After some brief instructions to master the vehicle, we will begin our tour through the impressive landscapes of Tenerife. We will follow our guide along the dirt forest tracks until we reach the first great viewpoint: Los Órganos. Here we will stop to admire the towering basalt formations and take our first photographs.
We will continue the route, venturing into La Caldera de La Orotava, a spectacular natural crater at the foot of the Teide National Park. Enjoy the unparalleled views of vertical walls covered in Canarian pine, often embraced by the island’s magical “sea of clouds”.
After squeezing out the off-road power of our scooters along the mountain tracks, we will reach the Chanajiga Natural Park recreation area. Here we will take a well-deserved break to relax, enjoy a light snack and a refreshing drink while taking in the valley views. To finish, we will ride back down to Aguamansa, drop off the scooters, and return by van to Puerto de la Cruz.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it difficult to ride the off-road electric scooter?
It’s not difficult, but it is mandatory that you know how to keep your balance, just as you would on a bicycle. Our scooters are designed for off-road use and are very stable, but the terrain has bumps and uneven sections typical of a forest.
Do I need a driving licence for the excursion?
You do not need to hold a driving licence. However, for legal safety reasons and due to the power of the scooters, the strict minimum age to participate is 16 years old.
Can two people ride on the same scooter?
No. For safety reasons and to guarantee proper manoeuvrability on the mountain dirt tracks, only a single occupant is permitted per scooter, with no exceptions.
What type of terrain will we be riding on?
This is a route classified as “Off-road”. We will transport the scooters to the Aguamansa area and ride mainly along dirt tracks, forest trails, and areas surrounded by the Canarian pine forest.
What kind of snack will we be given?
Halfway through the route, at the Chanajiga viewpoint, we will make a stop to recover our energy. Here we will offer you a light snack and a refreshing drink to stay hydrated while enjoying the landscape.
