Requirements

Minimum age: 10 years (minors must be accompanied by a guardian).
Knowing how to swim at a basic level.
For the Certified Divers option: Present an official certification card.

Rules of Use

Arrive 15 minutes before the agreed time.
VERY IMPORTANT (FLIGHTS): For strict health and decompression reasons, you must wait at least 24 hours after diving before boarding a plane or going to a high altitude (like Mount Teide).

Not suitable for

Pregnant women.
People with respiratory problems (severe asthma), heart conditions, or hypertension.
People with epilepsy, severe diabetes, or recent surgeries.
People with severe ear or sinus problems.
People under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Arrival time

Arrive at the dive center 15 minutes before your time.

Parking

Paid parking, located within the Puerto Colón facilities.

Transport and directions

The activity begins in Puerto Colón, one of the most accessible ports in the south of Tenerife:

On your own: You can arrive directly by car or taxi to the Puerto Colón dock itself.
Transfer from the North: If you are staying in Puerto de la Cruz and do not have a car, add our Direct bus to Siam Park to your booking. From the bus stop, Puerto Colón is just a pleasant and short 10–15 minute walk towards the coast.

Important Information

What to bring:

Swimsuit and towel.
Flip-flops or comfortable footwear.
ID/Passport and Diving License if you are certified.

Not allowed:

Flying or going up Mount Teide: It is strictly forbidden to fly on a plane or go to a high altitude within 24 hours after the dive.
Touching, disturbing, feeding, or extracting any type of marine flora or fauna.
Doing the activity under the influence of alcohol or strong medication.

Important Details:

Remember the golden rule of diving: for strict health and decompression reasons, you must plan your dive leaving a margin of at least 24 hours before catching your flight back home or visiting the Teide National Park.

Furthermore, if the sea conditions (waves or currents) do not guarantee a 100% safe and enjoyable dive, the activity will be rescheduled or canceled with a full refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous experience to be able to dive?

Not at all! If it is your first time, you should choose the “Try Dive” option, specially designed for beginners with no experience. If you already have a license (PADI, SSI, etc.), you can book the “Dive for Certified Divers”.

What is the minimum age to participate?

The minimum age for any of the diving activities is 10 years old. Minors must always be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Can I fly on a plane after the activity?

For strict health reasons and to prevent decompression sickness, it is mandatory to wait a minimum of 24 hours after diving before catching a flight or going up to high altitudes (like visiting Mount Teide).

What equipment does the activity include?

The Try Dive includes all the necessary full equipment. For the Certified Dive, the tank and weights are included; you can bring the rest of the heavy equipment yourself or rent it at the center on the day of the activity.

Where do the boats depart from?

All our diving trips depart from Puerto Colón, in Costa Adeje. The sea in this southern area of the island usually offers perfect conditions of visibility and calm almost all year round.

Cancellation Policy

Enjoy free cancellation up to 48 hours before your booking.
If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the booking, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up, no refund will be issued.
