Feel the sea breeze and discover the magic of the Atlantic. A perfect 3-hour route to responsibly watch cetaceans and relax with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of southern Tenerife.
In Detail
In this 3-hour excursion, we will set sail from Puerto Colón (Costa Adeje) and navigate along the south coast of Tenerife to the spectacular Diego Hernández Beach. There, we will make a stop in its beautiful bay to enjoy a swim in the ocean.
This trip is perfect for families or if you don’t have the whole day available. Its main attraction is that you will not only see the cetaceans jumping from the deck, but you can also go down to the exclusive underwater compartment and observe them swimming next to the hull through its large windows.
Furthermore, during the navigation and the swim, we will serve complimentary snacks and you will have unlimited drinks included (beer, sangria, water, and soft drinks).
Please note that this route sails only along the south coast. If you prefer the full experience up to the 600-meter-high rock walls, book our 4.5h Los Gigantes Route.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference from the 4.5-hour route?
This 3-hour route sails along the Adeje coast and offers snacks, making it ideal for families with tighter schedules. In contrast, the 4.5-hour one goes to the Los Gigantes cliffs and includes lunch.
Will we see dolphins and whales in just 3 hours?
Yes! The Adeje coast is the natural habitat of these species. We have a very high success rate, so the chances of seeing them swimming through the windows are almost 100%.
What kind of food is served on board?
As it is a shorter journey, we serve complimentary snacks to recharge your batteries after swimming, always accompanied by unlimited drinks.
Is there hotel pick-up for this excursion?
No, due to departure times, we do not have transfers from the north area for this short route. You must get to the Puerto Colón dock on your own. If you stay in Puerto de la Cruz and don’t have a car, we recommend booking our long 4.5-hour route, which does include the bus.
Is it a good idea to bring toddlers or babies?
It is the ideal excursion for them! Since it is shorter, it doesn’t get tedious for them, and they are amazed going down to the underwater compartment to see the animals just like in a natural aquarium.
