Do you love the sea but prefer not to scuba dive with a tank? Get on board our boat in Puerto Colón, put on your mask and snorkel, and join us to explore the crystal-clear waters of the south coast in a relaxed and safe way.
In Detail
Exploring the seabed on a snorkeling safari in Tenerife has never been easier. Our activity is designed so that anyone who knows how to swim can discover the vibrant aquatic life of the Atlantic Ocean without prior knowledge or a diving certification.
The excursion begins at our center in Puerto Colón, where you will have lockers to leave your belongings before boarding the boat. After a pleasant trip along the south coast, we will anchor in a privileged place with clear and calm waters.
Accompanied at all times by a professional guide who will be with you in the water, you will enjoy approximately 1 full hour of snorkeling to closely observe colorful fish, volcanic formations and, with luck, a turtle or ray.
You can all go on the same boat so no one stays on land! While you enjoy snorkeling, your companions can dive by booking a Try Dive or, if they are already certified divers, a Dive for Certified Divers.

My partner is going to scuba dive and I want to snorkel, can we go together?
Of course! That is one of the great advantages of this activity. Our boat is shared, so people doing the Try Dive and those doing the Snorkeling Safari travel and enjoy the experience together at the same anchorage point.
I have never snorkeled, is it difficult?
No, it is a very relaxing activity suitable for everyone. The only essential requirement is basic swimming skills. In addition, a professional guide will be with you in the water at all times to give you tips and make sure you are comfortable and safe.
What do I need to bring to the excursion?
You only need to bring your swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, and a lot of desire to have fun. We provide all the technical equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) and we even have secure lockers at the center for you to leave your personal items.
Can children go on the excursion?
Yes, it is a fantastic activity to do as a family. The minimum age to participate is 10 years old, and all minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
Will I see turtles or dolphins during the safari?
The seabed in the south of Tenerife is spectacular and full of life. It is very common to see schools of colorful fish, starfish, rays, and even turtles. However, as they are free animals in their natural habitat, we cannot 100% guarantee the sighting of a specific species. That is the true magic of nature!
