In Detail
Start your adventure by meeting our guide at the Puerto de la Cruz office. We will hop into a comfortable van equipped with a special trailer for the electric scooters and head to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island’s vibrant capital, parking next to the spectacular Palmetum.
After a brief and simple explanation on how to use the scooters safely, we’ll put on our helmets and start gliding. We will skirt around this immense 12-hectare botanical oasis, which specialises in palm trees from all over the world, enjoying the first views of the ocean.
Our urban route will take us to the emblematic Nuestra Señora de África Market. Its neo-colonial architecture makes it the perfect place to soak up local life. From there, we will cross the heart of the capital via the famous Calle del Castillo, a lively pedestrian street ideal for admiring the historic architecture, until we reach García Sanabria Park. We will enjoy riding along the paths of this true green lung, flanked by exotic flowers and open-air sculptures.
Leaving the centre behind, we will head towards the coast, gliding along the spectacular promenade until we reach San Andrés, a picturesque fishing village. Here we will take a well-deserved break: you will have free time for a refreshing swim in the sea, relax, and savour a delicious sandwich and soft drink included in the route.
With our energy restored, we will get back on the scooters to ride back along the coast, feeling the sea breeze until we reach the Palmetum again. We will pack away the scooters and get back in the van for a comfortable return to Puerto de la Cruz.

Yes, absolutely. The guide will design the route to travel mainly along cycle lanes, wide pedestrian zones, and the extensive coastal promenade, guaranteeing a peaceful and safe ride.
Where exactly will we swim?
The tour will take us to the coastal village of San Andrés. We will take our break very close to Las Teresitas Beach, where we will have time to enjoy a good swim.
What should I wear for the excursion?
We recommend bringing very comfortable summer clothing, as the weather in Santa Cruz is usually warm. Ideally, wear your swimsuit under your clothes so you can head straight into the water when we reach the coast.
Do I need a good level of physical fitness?
No, the great advantage of the electric scooter is that it allows you to cover large distances across the capital without getting tired. You only need to know how to maintain basic balance.
What kind of food is included in the picnic?
We will bring a tasty sandwich (with dietary options available if you notify us in advance) and a refreshing drink to enjoy during the beach stop before making the return journey.
