Frequently Asked Questions
Can I drive with my car license?
Yes, provided that your class B (car) license is at least 3 years old. However, if you have had your license for less time, it is not permitted by law. Furthermore, moped licenses (AM) are not valid.
How does the deposit work?
First, a deposit of €150 (by card or cash) is left when picking up the motorcycle. Then, if you return it in the same condition (no damage, fuel at the same level, keys and helmets in good condition), we instantly refund your deposit.
Can I go up to Mount Teide with the scooter?
Of course! The 125cc motorcycles climb perfectly on the main roads. We only ask for caution on the curves. In addition, you must bring warm clothing, as it gets quite cold at the top.
What exactly does the insurance cover?
The price includes Third-Party Insurance and roadside assistance. However, own damage to the motorcycle (bumps, scratches) or theft are NOT included: you have a maximum deductible of €500. Therefore, if something happens, the deposit (€150) will be used to cover part of the cost, and the difference must be paid until the repair is covered.
Do you deliver the motorcycle to the hotel?
No. All management, pick-up, and return are always carried out at our Mamio Verde office in Puerto de la Cruz.
