Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a boat license or permit to drive the jet ski?
No, not at all. Being a guided route (safari) led by our expert instructors, you do not need any type of nautical qualification. We will give you quick training before leaving so you can handle the jet ski safely.
Can we take turns driving if there are two of us?
Yes! If you book a Double Jet Ski and both meet the requirement of being over 18, we will make a stop in the middle of the route so you can change positions and both experience being at the controls.
What happens to my belongings while I am in the water?
Do not worry. We have free and safe lockers at our Puerto Colón base. You can leave your change of clothes, backpack, keys, and mobile phone there before getting on the jet ski.
Is it dangerous or very difficult if I have never driven one?
It is super simple and intuitive. Modern jet skis are very stable. We will start at a gentle pace so you get used to the throttle and, as you feel comfortable, you can increase the speed following the guide’s wake.
Can I bring my own sports camera (GoPro)?
Yes, but it must necessarily be attached to your body with a chest harness or floating head mount. For safety reasons and to avoid contamination in the sea, it is not allowed to carry cameras or mobile phones held in the hand while driving.
