In Detail

Enjoy the best tandem paragliding flight of your life: an unforgettable experience flying from the Teide National Park at an altitude of 2,200 meters, with spectacular views in broad daylight.

First, after picking you up in Puerto de la Cruz and going up to the takeoff area, you will receive a brief instruction. Our certified pilot will take care of everything; therefore, you will only have to take a few short steps and, suddenly, you will be floating in the air.

During the 25-35 minutes of flight, we will descend through the beautiful Orotava Valley. Consequently, you will be enjoying the clarity and vivid colors of the Tenerife landscape, until finally landing smoothly next to the Atlantic coast.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have previous experience to go paragliding?

Not at all! First, the flight is carried out in “tandem” mode (two-seater). Therefore, you will be safely hooked to one of our certified professional pilots. He will handle all the technical maneuvers; you just have to take a few steps at takeoff, sit comfortably, and enjoy the views.

Does flying in a paraglider cause vertigo or dizziness?

Curiously, paragliding does not cause vertigo. Specifically, vertigo is a sensation that occurs when we are connected to the ground (like looking over a balcony). Since you are flying, the brain does not have that reference, and the sensation is one of peace and buoyancy. However, if you are prone to car or boat sickness, we highly recommend taking an anti-sickness pill half an hour before the flight.

Will it be cold during the flight?

Yes. We take off from the Teide National Park at an altitude of over 2,200 meters. At that height, the temperature is considerably lower than on the coast, especially if you choose the Sunset flight. Consequently, it is mandatory to bring warm clothes (windbreaker jacket or light coat) and long pants.

Can two people fly at the same time (as a couple)?

We can organize it so that you fly in the same shift, but each person will fly in their own paraglider with their own pilot. Furthermore, you will take off a few minutes apart and, once in the air, you will be able to see each other flying nearby.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my reservation?

Safety is our absolute priority. Therefore, if the pilot determines that wind or visibility conditions are not optimal, we will cancel the flight. In that case, we will offer to reschedule it for the next available day or, if your trip does not allow it, we will give you a full refund with no questions asked.
